According to EY, 71% of CFOs believe that “traditional back-office behaviours and mindset” are slowing their modernization of finance and accounting, with a growing awareness amongst CFOs that cloud computing is the environment in which digital transformation must take place.

Similarly, Gartner expects that the cloud will become the dominant deployment model across all areas of financial management applications by 2025.

However, misconceptions or a lack of knowledge about the cloud, can keep finance and accounting professionals from taking advantage of its capabilities.

In our upcoming Webcast, we will be joined by Mark Schwartz, Director of AWS Enterprise Strategy, to discuss the rise in popularity of cloud technology. We will also address the key questions every CFO should be asking around topics such as Cost, Security, Integration and IT effort in order to take full advantage of the benefits that the cloud has to offer while ensuring any potential pitfalls are avoided.
